Participation Method

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's commencement ceremony will be hosted as an online live stream ceremony. Although students may not attend the ceremony in person, he or she may still participate simultaneously online to witness and complete one of their most important stages of life:

1. The "Commencement Ceremony" video will be played at 9:40 AM on June 12th, and the ceremony will officially begin at 10:00 AM. All students are welcome to join the live broadcast ceremony.
2. All certified representatives may use his or her account to log in to the MS Teams "2021 Commencement Ceremony" team to participate; all graduates may use the MS Teams live stream (http://bit.ly/tku109gralive) or Youtube live stream (https://youtu.be/fxf_rAbAb9Q) to watch the ceremony online. Please click on the homepage banner of the university’s official website or click on the "Hot Links" → "2021 Commencement Ceremony" section → "Live Stream." One may also log in by scanning the QR Code link below.
3. The ceremony itinerary will issue certificates and turn the tassel in sequence online starting with the doctoral graduating class, then master’s graduating class, and then the bachelor’s graduating class. As the class of the graduate is called upon, there will be a certified representative to ask graduates to turn the tassel online. During this time, please ask your family or friends to turn your tassel for you and witness this important moment together.
4. If you are unable to obtain the bachelor's, master's, or doctoral caps & gowns, you may participate in the ceremony by wearing casual clothing.
5. TKU welcomes all graduates to record and share the tassel turning event at home and share it with everyone on Youtube. The university will also select a few clips to make a commemorative video.
6. At the end of the ceremony, a list of all recent graduates will be broadcasted, so please stay tuned.

All faculties, staff, students, families, relatives, friends, and alumnus of Tamkang are welcome to participate. Although the pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to our society, the university still hoped to manage and offer an extraordinary commencement ceremony experience for all graduates. We hope that all students may participate actively, jointly, and create an unforgettable commencement ceremony.
